Purpose
Fremont Christian Preschool offers an enriched program of highly creative activities designed to meet all of the developmental needs of each child. We offer a balanced program of whole group and learning center activities. The processes of development take priority over the products. Every child is allowed to blossom, as s/he is ready. We strive to assist parents in their God given responsibility of training their children in order to produce healthy, happy, wholesome lives, Christian character and conduct, obedience to parents, respect for authority and an appreciation of our American heritage.
Enrollment
Preschool operates twelve months a year. Enrollment may take place at any time as long as space is available. Children generally transition to a new class each fall when the new school year begins.
Age
To register for one of our preschool programs, a child must be two years of age. We will assist the two year olds with all of their toilet training needs.
Classes
Children are placed in a class according to birth date and/or developmental level. On a daily basis, each class will contain no more than twenty four children. Two or three full time teachers are assigned to each classroom.
Hours
We have care available from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM for our full day students. In addition, we offer a half day program from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Food
Nutritional morning and afternoon snacks, in addition to lunch, are provided with all full day programs. Half day students enjoy a nutritional morning snack and may purchase a ten day lunch ticket for $35.00.
School Calendar
Our scheduled closure dates are published annually on the school calendar.
Playground
For us, outdoor play is a great time on our spacious playground with the latest outdoor play equipment suitable for children of preschool age. Our outdoor playground includes swings, trikes, balls, jungle gyms, sandbox, shady relaxation, games, etc.
Special Activities
Each class has several Field Trips a year. We also take advantage of every opportunity to have a party or celebration. We encourage parent participation in these special times.
Program
Academic subjects such as language arts, alphabet recognition and phonetic associations, numeral identification and values, math concepts, colors, shapes, science, social studies, health, safety, manners, nutrition, pre-writing skills and Bible stories are a regular part of our program. Music, creative arts, “Circle Times”, gross and fine motor skill activities, problem solving activities, social interaction, and Share Days are all vital experiences in our Preschool program.
