McKenna N. pitched six great innings to get the win for her team. She did not walk a single batter the whole game. Maleia C. was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate and made three sparkling plays on defense.  Second baseman Leia G. had two hits and 2 RBI's, as did first baseman Keely C. Kamila R. and Kayla C. reached base three times, and scored twice. Annie Y. had three singles, and scored two runs. Samantha W. caught the whole game, and reached base twice. Taliyah H. walked and scored to start a big rally in the fifth inning. To start the fifth inning the score was 1-to-1, but Fremont Christian scored six times in the fifth to put the game away. Solid defense from Veronique V., and Daniel R. helped the ladies prevail!

It was a fantastic season for the Lady Warriors, as they won their first Championship in some time.

Mrs. Julia Valle of Fremont, CA, devoted wife, mom extraordinaire, loving daughter, sister, cousin, friend and faithful servant to the Lord, passed surrounded by her family on October 19, 2016 after a three-year battle with chronic myeloid leukemia.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar Valle, her children, Alejandra (20 yrs), Adanael (17 yrs) and Alexia (16 yrs), her parents, Rosa & Gustavo Castro, her siblings, Julio C., Frances, Cesar, Claudia, and Julio R.

Julia worked at Fremont Christian Pre-School for 13 years as a teacher, interim Director and finally as Assistant Director. She graduated from Cal State University East Bay with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development in 2013 while working full-time both outside the home and as a very involved mother.  She served as Team Mom year after year; she documented every moment of her children's lives with thousands of pictures; Disneyland was indeed one of her happiest places on Earth; she loved sunsets and the beach- often coupling those together and everything and anything she did, Julia did it with the most radiant smile.  Best known for her compassionate heart, thank you cards, strong work ethic and deep devotion to children, she will be terribly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
