April 25, 2018
By Admissions Office

Congrats to one of our high school boys, Bubba G., on getting Player of the Week from NorCal Prep Baseball Report!

An excerpt from the article summarizes his performance:

"This past week, Gomez threw a No-Hitter, recording a strikeout for 14 of the 15 outs in a run-rule shortened game. He issued one walk and hit one batter. For good measure, Gomez went 3-for-5 at the plate with a pair of triples, scored three runs and had an RBI. In a game earlier in the week, Gomez was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and five runs scored and two stolen bases."

Congratulations to our whole team for their efforts and hard work! We look forward to a strong finish this season.

Prep2Prep Feature: NCS Baseball & FCS Warriors

Our Varsity Boys Baseball team was recently featured in a Prep2Prep article for their achievements.

The article opens with:

"The Fremont Christian baseball program has been setting new precedents for success in the past couple seasons, including the Warriors’ first 20-win season last year, but this year’s team is not settling for anything short of the program’s first section title.

By most standards, Fremont Christian has been a model of consistency over the past decade, posting winning records every year since 2009. That includes a run of six straight unbeaten seasons in Bay Counties League-General Division play from 2009-2014, and a 22-1 mark in league play over the past two years."

Congratulations, Warriors, for recognition of your hard work!

Evan and Carlo will represent Alameda County and travel this summer to join the other delegates to experience the practical operation of state and local government.
