Congratulations to Evan D. and Carlo C. on being selected by the American Legion as delegates for the 2018  Boys’ State! 

The Boys’ State delegates are interviewed and chosen by the American Legion on the basis of essays, resumes, GPA, moral character, leadership ability, academic scholarship, interest in current events and politics and recommendations of school administrators. Boys’ State delegates represent the top 1% of California juniors. 

Evan and Carlo will represent Alameda County and travel this summer to join the other delegates to experience the practical operation of state and local government.
