There are two-, three-, and four-hour shifts available. Part-time employees receive discounts based on the average number of hours worked and years of service. Example: A first-year employee who works an average of 20 hours per week receives a 30% tuition discount and no charge for Extended Care.

Qualifications include:
  • Obtain or have a Commercial Class A or B California driver’s license or permit with an air brake and passenger endorsement from the DMV (Written Test Permit)
  • Complete training for the CHP School Bus endorsement, which consists of 20 hours in class and 20 hours behind the wheel for school bus driving
  • Pass a written test, bus pre-trip inspection test, and driving test with a CHP Officer to receive a Certificate of Completion
  • Be willing to attend 10 hours in class each year and renew every five (5) years

Position Description: The head coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of developing a successful program. This includes developing team and individual player skills, promoting sportsmanship, building individual player and team morale, creating unity, and fostering an education-based culture where the safety, development, and growth of our student-athletes is of the utmost priority.

Current openings for assistant coach: High School Girls' Volleyball (Fall), High School Girls' Tennis (Fall), High School Boys' Soccer (Fall Season), & High School Boys' Basketball (Winter)

VOLUNTEER & HOMESTAY OPPORTUNITIES

In order to conform to current California law, volunteers who help in the classroom, attend class parties, field trips, or otherwise will be on any FCS campus during school hours, need to complete a volunteer application - available below. 

 

FCS has an international program available for K-12 students. For 7-12 international students, they can opt into the FCS Homestay. If you are interested in opening your home to an international student, please submit the Homestay Host Application - available below.
